Abstract

Jindan 44 was bred by Institute of Maize Research Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1996. Through several years trail and planting in different areas and conditions the hybrid showed the characteristics of high and steady-yield good-quality strong resistance to disease and wide adaptability. It is suitable to spring planting in north part of Shanxi province and summer planting in Huanghuihai area of China.
