Abstract

Objective:To explore the surgical techniques in phacoemulsification and the clinical effects in phacoemulsification in the state of microcoria cataract. Method:23 cases (27 eyes)of microcoria cataract after the use of mydriatics were operated by using viscoelastic or nonincisional pupilloplasty first, then was performed by C.C.C and used stable ultrasonic phacoemulsification and implantation the intraocular lens. Result:Following up 4 to 12 months, all the cases got better visual acuity, the corrected visual acuity was 0.1~0.2 in 5 eyes,0.3~0.5 in 14 eyes;above 0.8 were 8 eyes. Conclusion:Microcoria cataract after the use of mydriatics were operated by using viscoelastic or nonincisional pupilloplasty, can finish the operations successfully. The pupil can be recovered to normal or near-normal and the visual acuity improved, had few complications.
