Abstract
Objective To establish a method for determining content of baicalin in Tuishao granules by HPLC. Methods A reverse phase HPLC method was adopted to determine the content of baicalin in Tuishao granules. Chromatographic condition:AlltimaC18 column(250mm×4.6mm);the mobile phase was Methanol-2%acetic-acid solution(47:53);the detective wavelength was 270nm;the flow rate was 0.8ml/min; the column temperature was 30℃. Results The calibration curve was linear at the range of0.08-0.4μg for baicalin and the regression equation was Y=a+bX,r=0.9994; the recovery rate was 96.8% and RSD was 1.17%(n=5).Conclusion The method is simple and accurate and it can be used reliably for the quality control of baicalin in the Tuishao granules.
