Abstract
Objective To contrastively study serum IL-2 and IFN-γ levels of patients with peptic ulcer whose Hp were positive or negative.Methods Serum IL-2 and IFN-γ levels were detected in 23 patients with peptic ulcer whose Hp were positive and 14 patients with peptic ulcer whose Hp were negative by means of double antibody ELISA method.Changes of these two cytokines were observed in patients infected with Helicobacter pylori.Results Serum IL-2 (P0.05) and IFN-γ(P0.01) levels were significantly lower in the Hp positive group than those in the Hp negative group.Conclusion Hp infection can decrease cytoimmunity of patients with peptic ulcer.
