Abstract

Objective To study the relationship between serum levels of IL-10 and Helicobacter pylori infection in peptic ulcer.Methods 114 Hp positive peptic ulcer patients and 76 Hp negative peptic ulcer patients were enrolled in this study.ELISAmethods was used to measure the serum levels of IL-10 in these patients.Results Serum levels of IL-10 in Hp positive group was significantly higher than in Hp negative group.Conclusion Hp infection is associated with increased IL-10 in peptic ulcer patients.
