Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of mifepristone combined with rivanolin induction of labor in mid-pregnancy.Methods: 67 women with 14~28 weeks of gestation were randomly divided into two groups,The experimental group(n=40) received mifepristone combined with rivanol induced abortion, the control group(n=27) received a single Rivanol induced abortion. The pain time, the time of induced abortion and bleeding volume of two groups were compared. Results:The operation time of experimental group was shorter than the control group, the pain of experimental group was slighter than the control group. There were no significant differences of the bleeding volume between two groups. Conclusion: The application of mifepris-tone combined with rivanol in the mediumterm pregnancy could shorten the pain time, and the operation time The method is simple and safe,is the preferred method of labor induction in mid-pregnancy.
