Abstract
Ferrocenylformyl chloride was synthesized by the acylation reaction of ferrocenecarboxylic acid.N-Ferrocenylformylglycine was prepared by treating ferrocenylformyl chloride with glycine in a mixed solvent of acetone-water.The optimum conditions for the reaction were: the molar ratio of ferrocenylformyl chloride and glycine was 1∶2,the pH of the solution was kept within 8~9 during the reaction, the reaction temperature was controlled at 20~25°C.After 3 h, the pH of the solution was adjusted to 1~2 by hydrochloric acid in order to transformed the sodium salt to the acid. The precipitate was collected by filtration under reduced pressure. The yield was 89.0%.The structure of the target compound was confirmed by elemental analysis,IR and()~1H NMR.
