Abstract
A sodium chloride scale inhibitor was prepared by copolymerization of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS) and acrylic acid(AA), using ammonium persulfate as initiators. By using the single factor and orthogonal experiments, the monomer mass ratio, initiator dosage, monomer mass concentration, reaction time and reaction temperature were selected. The effect of polymer dosage and pH on scale inhibition performance were evaluated. The experimental results show that m(AA) ∶ m(AMPS)was 7 ∶ 3, reaction temperature was 70 ℃, the the monomer mass concentration was 28% , initiator mass concentration was 0.1%, reaction time was 4 h, the pH value was 8, the polymer dosage was 320mg/L and the solubilization rate was 14.6%; the solubilization rate compounded with sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate is 18%.
