Abstract
Objective:To observe the curative effect of microwave, neck muscle training and health education combined with acupuncture and massage on nerve root cervical spondylosis and their influence on life quality of the patients. Methods:Fifty cases with nerve root cervical spondylosis were divided into observation group(n=25) and control group(n=25) by the random number table. Patients in the control group were treated by regular acupuncture and massage and patients in the observation group were treated by comprehensive rehabilitation therapy. After four courses of treatment, the changes of visual analogue score(VAS),clinical assessment scale for cervical spondylosis(CASCS) and short form 36(SF-36) health survey of the two groups were observed. Results:The effective rate of the observation group was 92%,which was significantly higher than that(68%) of the control group(P0.05). The VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment and the observation group reduced more signifi cantly than the control group(P 0.05). The scores of SF-36 scale and CASCS of the two groups were significantly increased after treatment and the observation group increased more significantly than the control group(P0.05). Conclusion:Comprehensive rehabilitation therapy for nerve root cervical spondylosis has good effect and it can significantly improve the life quality of the patients.
