Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of cervical rehabilitation training combined with acupuncture on cervical spondylosis radiculopathy. Methods: 60 patients with cervical spondylosis radiculopathy were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given acupuncture treatment. The treatment group was given acupuncture combined with neck rehabilitation training. Two groups were treated for 21 days. Respectively before and after treatment use visual analogue scale( VAS),assessment scale of cervical syndrome( ASCS) on pain and cervical comprehensive evaluation. Results: In two groups after treatment VAS pain scores compared with those before treatment were decreased, and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 01). After treatment, the degree of pain VAS score was significantly better than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 01). ASCS scale scores in two groups after treatment compared with those before treatment were decreased significantly, and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01). After treatment,in the treatment group ASCS scale score was significantly better than that of the control group, and there was a statistically significant difference( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01). Conclusion: Cervical rehabilitation training combined with acupuncture therapy can not only help patients improve the pain symptoms, but also can improve the ability of their daily life.
