The Present Situation and Main Problems of the Two-way Referral System in Xixiang,Shenzhen

OBJECTIVE To investigate the present situation of the two-way referral system of Xixiang street,analyze the main problems and bring the suggestion to deal with them,which may be helpful to the development of two-way referral system. METHOD To investigate the staffs in Xixiang people's hospital and the community health service centers with the questionnaires,then synthesize and analyze all of the survey data by SPSS 13.0 statistical software. RESULT (1)The development of the referral is rapid,but mainly concentrating on the up-referral from community hospitals to higher-level hospital.(2)The referral awareness shows the significant difference between the staffs in Xixiang hospital and the staffs in community health service centers (P0.05).(3)Medical personnel who knew the two-way referral system,were highly educated,received the training about the community health knowledge and the referral patients tend to approve the two-way referral system. CONCLUSION In order to guarantee the sustainable development of the community health service,we should strengthen the propaganda and management of the two-way referral system,enhance the support to the community health service centers.
