Abstract
Objective:To observe Limbal stem cell transplantation Mitomycin C The effect of treatment of pterygium.Methods:Of 123 cases,171 eyes have the operation under the microscope with pterygium excision and Limbal stem cell transplantation combined with mitomycin C.During the 6-36 months after the operation,follow-up 171 eyes.The results During the 6-15 months after the operation,follow-up 171 eyes.4 recurrence.Recurrence rate was 3%.Conclusion Conventional pterygium excision combined with autologous limbal stem cell transplantation and Mitomycin C can effectively reduce pterygium recurrence rate.
