Abstract
Objective To detect the E-selectin and A561C gene polymorphism in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods Genotypes of E-selectin in 199 patients with cerebral infarction and 124 controls were typed by PCR-RFIP,SNPrs5361.Results There was significant difference in frequencies of allele and genotype in E-selectin A561C polymorphism between patients group and control group(P0.05).Relative risk analysis indicated that the risk of cerebral infarction in C allele was 5.4 times higher than that in A allele. And the frequency of AC+CC genotypes in patients group was significant higher than control group(P=0.00).Conclusion E-selectin A561C polymorphism was associated with cerebral infarction, and C allele might be a risk factor of cerebral infarction.
