Study on Determination of Pueraria Flavonoids in Extracts of Pueraria labta (Willd.) Ohwi

Abstract

Objective To determine the contents of puerarin and total flavonoids in extracts of Pueraria labta (Willd.) Ohwi.Methods HPLC was established to determine puerarin,and UV was established to determine total flavonoids in extracts of pueranva Labta.Results The results of HPLC quantitative analysis showed that the linear range of puerarin was 0.017 536～1.753 6 μg(r=0.999 97),and the recovery rate was 99.05%,RSD=1.36%;the results of UV quantitative analysis showed that the linear range of total flavonoids was 2.192～10.92 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 55),and the recovery rate was 100.69%,RSD=1.29%.Conclusion This method is convenient,accurate,reliable with good reproducibility,so it can be used to determine the contents of puerarin and total flavonoids in extracts of Pueraria labta (Willd.) Ohwi.
