Abstract

Objective To summarize the value of laparoscopic non-stapling totally extraperitoneal prosthesis (n-TEP).Methods From Dec.2008 to Oct.2009,19 patients with inguinal hernia accepted n-TEP under general anesthesia in our Hospital, the data were retrospectively analysed Results The operation time varied from 60 to 155minutes,and blood loss was 10 to 50 ml.Postoperative complications included 2 cases of scrotal emphysema and pneumoderma. The patient discharged from hospital 3 to 5 days after operation. There was no recurrence in 3 to 12 months of follow-up.Conclusions The n-TEP is safe, reliable, simple, and less complications.
