Abstract
The theory of Path Dependence is a method employed in western economics research.Applying this theory to the study of physical education teaching principles,it is concluded that physical education teaching principles in China have external dependence,mainly learning from foreign sports teaching theories;sports scholars in our country display new internal dependencies in the study.China's sports teaching principles must exit from the dependence,and make breakthroughs and innovation in the study,establishing new principles such as security,health,physical and mental development,unity,teaching in accordance with their aptitude,intuitiveness,effort,and moderate load.
