Abstract
Objective:To develop a method for determination of Furacillini content in Scald Ointment. Methods:UV spectrophotometry of Furacillini at(375±1)nm was caculated for the assay. Results:There was a good linear relation between Furacillini content and Abs in the range of 4.28μgmL~8.56μgmL(r=0.9999).The average recovery was 98.9% with RSD of 0.52%.Conclusion:The developed method is simple and accurate without interference from Dyclonine and Ointment, which could be used in the quality control of this product.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
