Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To determine the content of naftifen solution by UV spectrophotometry.METHODS:The E 1% 1cm of naftifen was determined using two concentration of naftifen solutions with five UV spectrophotometors.RESULTS:The excipients had no interference. The calibration curve was linear in 1.6 ~ 16 μg·ml -1 , r = 1.000 0 .Coefficient of inter day variation was 0.20 %( n =6).The recovery rate was 100.4 %( RSD = 0.39 %).The average content of three batches of samples was 97.90 % of labelled amount.CONCLUSIONS:The method was simple and accurate.
