Abstract
Objective:To develop a method for determination of Furacillini content in Furaclin and Ephedrine nasal drops. Methods:UV spectophotometry of Furacillini at 374 nm was caculated for the assay. Results:There was a good linear relation between Furacillini content in the range of 4.8 to 7.2 μg.ml-1(r=0.999 9).The average recovery was 100.3% with RSD of 0.53%.Conclusion:The develop method is simple and accurate without interference from Dyclonine and Ointment, which could be used in the quality control of this product.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
