Abstract
The paper analyzes the background faced by higher engineering education and many factors existing in self-development and affecting students' practical ability cultivation.A conception of engineering such as CDIO is introduced.From educational thoughts and practice teaching reform based on CDIO,the proper counter measures are provided.Combined with the practice of education innovation,the paper discusses how to train engineering talents and strengthen practical ability.
