Abstract

CDIO is a classic mode of engineering education currently in MIT.It emphasizes that the engineering education should pay attention to practice,be based on modern science and technology,be rooted in the real lifecycle of products or systems,and be aimed at cultivating new highly qualified engineers.This paper describes the CDIO model and the current situation of its development and analyzes the problems of China's current engineering education model.Combined with the mechanical and electronic engineering teaching practice in our school,it describes the implementation process in the teaching practice using CDIO engineering education model grade I project and explores the practice and reform of mechanical and electronic engineering practice teaching system based on CDIO training model.
