Observation of Curative Effect in 48 Patients with Diabetic Gastroparesis Treated with Mosapride Citrate Tablet

Objective: To observe the curative effect in patients with diabetic gastroparalysis (DGP) treated with mosapride citrate tablet.Methods: 116 cases of DGP were randomly divided into three groups. 48 cases were treated with mosapride citrate tablet and the remaining in the other two groups were treated with domperidone or cisapride respectively. Results: The theraputic effect of patients treated with mosapride citrate tablet was better than that of domperidone and corresponded to that of cisapride. The patients with high sensitive to cisapride showed polonged QT intervals or torsades de pointes ventricular tachycardia, while those taking mosapride citrate tablet didnt show any electrophysiologic disorders.Conclusion: As a new type of gastroenteric prokinetic drug, mosapride citrate tablet is more prospective than domperidone and cisapride to treat DGP.
