Clinical observation of mosapride in treatment of patients with diabetic gastroparesis

Objective: To study the effects of mosapride in the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis.Methods: Mosapride (n=46,5mg three times a day for 4 weeks) versus domperidone(n=36,10mg three times a day for 4 weeks) in treatment of diabetic gastroparesis were observed in clinic effects,blood glucose and side effect.Results: The curative rates of mosapride effected on fullness,early statiety,bloating,nausea or vomit and postprandial discomfort of patients with diabetic gastroparesis were respective 100%,100%,89.2%,81.8% and 87.5%,and higher than that of domperidone(p0.05).Compared with domperidone,mosapride can help control blood glucose,and its side effects are slight.Conclusions: Mosapride is a useful and safe medicine in treatment of patients with diabetic gastroparesis.
