Abstract
[Objective]To establish an HPLC method for the determination of baicalin and berberine hydrochloride in Sanhuang tablet.[Method]Kromasil C 18 column(4.6 mm × 150 mm,5 μm) was used.The mobile phase was acetonitrile-2% iceacetic acid(25∶ 75).The flow rate was 1.0 ml / min,and the detection wavelength was 275 nm,sample size 10 μl.[Result]Excellent chromatographic separation was achieved for baicalin and berberine hydrochloride.The linear ranges of two constituents were 0.008-0.038mg and 0.004-0.022 mg respectively.The recoveries were 99.3%(RSD = 1.66%);99.5%(RSD = 2.42%).[Conclusion] The method is easy and simple,accurate and suitable for the determination of baicalin and berberine hydrochloride in Sanhuang tablet.
