The Effects Observation of Irbesartan Combined with Atorvastatin in the Treatment of Primary Hypertension with Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Objective To study the clinical effect of irbesartan combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of left ventricular hypertrophy with essential hypertension.Methods 42 cases of May 2011 to December 2012 in our hospital in essential hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy were divided into two groups according to the treatment method,the control group were treated with irbesartan treatment,observation group were treated with irbesartan combined with atorvastatin treatment.The changes of blood pressure and left ventricular mass index were compared before and after treatment in the two groups.Results After treatment,the observation group of patients with systolic and diastolic blood pressure was lower than the control group,the left ventricular mass index was superior to the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Irbesartan combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of essential hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy antihypertensive effect is obvious,can significantly improve left ventricular function in patients,is worthy of clinical application.
