Electrocardiogram reversal effect of atorvastatin combined with enalaprilat in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy

Objective To study the electrocardiogram(ECG) reversal effect of atorvastatin combined with enalaprilat in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. Methods 200 cases of patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy from January 2011 to December 2012 in our and surrounding hospital were divided into two groups,control group was given enalaprilat,observation group was given atorvastatin based on the control group. The blood pressure and echocardiogram were observed before and 6 months after treatment respectively. Results After 6 months treatment,blood pressure levels,LVMI,LVPW,LVSTD in two groups all decreased significantly( P 0.05),and these indexes of observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were significant( P0.05); E/A in two groups significantly increased(P0.05),the E/A in observation group was higher than that in control group(P0.05). Conclusion Atorvastatin combined with enalaprilat for patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy has good reversal effect,which is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
