Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Bushenzhuangtu decoction on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods 186 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) were randomly divided into treatment group, which were treated by Bushenzhuangtu decoction, and control group, which were treated by western medicine. Patients with positive helicobacter pylori in both groups take orally antibiotics. The therapeutic course was 20 days in both groups. Clinical symptoms and pathologic change were observed for evaluation of effect. Results The total effective rate of clinical symptoms in treatment group (92.1%) was higher than that in control group (73.8%,P0.05). The total effective rate of pathologic change in treatment group (78.6%) was higher than that in control group (36.9%,P0.05).Conclusion Bushenzhuangtu decoction could effectively treat CAG.
