Abstract
Objective To observe the curative effect of Huazhuoyangwei Decoction on chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG). Method To divide randomly patients with diagnosed CAG into the treatment group (n=60, treated with Huazhuoyangwei Decoction) and the control group (n=60, treated with Yangwei Granules), and then compare and observe the curative effect after 6 months. Result The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3% and that of the control group was 73.3 %. The comparison between two groups was significant (P0.05). In the treatment group the relief of glandular atrophy of gastric mucosa was much better than that in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Huazhuoyangwei Decoction has an obvious curative effect on chronic atrophic gastritis.
