Abstract

OBJECTIVE To discuss the application of combination detection of serum CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP in diagnosis of ovarian cancer.METHODS From January 2011 to December 2011,the serum CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP were detected in 67 cases with ovarian cancer patients,57 cases with benign ovarian disease and 52 healthy controls by using electrochemiluminescence method.RESULTS Serum levels of CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP were significantly elevated in ovarian cancer group than those in benign ovarian disease group and control group(P﹤0.05).There were no significant differences in CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP between benign ovarian disease group and control group(P ﹥ 0.05).The sensitive rate of combination of CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP was significantly higher than that of CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP only(P﹤ 0.05),but no significant differences in specificity(P ﹥ 0.05).CONCLUSION Serum levels of CA199,CA125,CEA and AFP are significantly increased in ovarian cancer patients, and the combination detection is good for early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
