Clinical Diagnosis Value of Combined Detection of Serum CA125,AFP,CEA and CA19-9 in Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical diagnosis value of joint detection of serum CA125, AFP, CEA and CA19-9 in epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods The clinical data of 151 cases of ovarian tumors treated primarily in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University from March 2007 to July 2010 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Results The serum CA125 level of the ovarian cancer group was significantly higher than that of the benign ovarian tumor group(P0.05). In ovarian cancer, the sensitivity of the combined detection of CA125,AFP,CEA and CA19-9 was higher than that of detection alone of CA125. CA125 was the highest in serious cystadenocarcinoma. Conclusion The sensitivity and specificity of CA125 to ovarian cancer are not high. The combined detection may improve the sensitivity of its diagnosis,but its specificity is low.
