Abstract
Objective: To explore the application value of joint detection of serum CA125,CA19-9,carcinoma embryonic antigen( CEA),and alpha fetoprotein( AFP) in diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Methods: Thirty-eight patients with ovarian cancer who were diagnosed and treated in the hospital from January 2011 to July 2012 were selected as observation group, and thirty-eight patients with benign ovarian tumor during the same period were selected as control group; the levels and positive rates of serum CA125,CA19-9,CEA,and AFP in the two groups were compared statistically. Results: The levels and positive rates of serum CA125,CA19-9,CEA,and AFP in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the positive rate of joint detection was significantly higher than those of single detection; in observation group, there was statistically significant difference in the positive rate among patients of different stages( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The application value of joint detection of serum CA125,CA19-9,CEA,and AFP in diagnosis of ovarian cancer is relatively high, which has active clinical significance for understanding the clinical stages.
