Abstract
The synthesis of n butyl chloroacetate by using TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 as catalyst has been studied. The factors influencing the synthesis were discussed and the best conditions were found out.The optimum conditions are:molar ratio of n butyl alcohol to chloroacetic acid is 1.4∶1,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 2.0% feed stock, the reaction temperature is 130~139 ℃,and the reaction time is 0.5 h.TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 is an excellent catalyst for synthetizing n butyl chloroacetate and its yield can reach over 66.51%.
