Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the modified Tension Free Vaginal Tape Obturator Technique(TVT-O) procedure in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence. Methods 50 cases of female stress urinary incontinence treated by modified TVT-O procedure from March 2006 to November 2007 were analyzed retrospectively. Results 49 cases were successfully cured and 1 case were enhanced by the modified TVT-O procedure,the mean operation time was 13~15 minutes. No organ injury were recorded among all the operation. Conclusion Modified TVT-O procedure is simple and minimally invasive with lower complication rate,It is a satisfactory technique for the surgical treatment of female stress urinary incontinence.
