Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of CSA upon the maturation and allostimulatory activity of murine bone marrow-derived dendritic cells and the underlying mechanisms. Methods:Cultured DC were treated with CSA at doses of 0.5 and 1.0 μg/ml.Surface phenotype was assessed by flow cytometry.Immunostimulatory was measured by mixed lymphocyte reaction. Results:DCs cultured in the presence of MPA expressed low levels of CD40 and CD80 and exhibited weak activity in stimulating the proliferation of allogeneic T cells. Conclusion:CSA interfere with immune responses at the earliest stages by impacting dendritic-cell activation, dendritic cells are emerging pharmacological targets of CSA.【
