Effects of Liuwei Nengxiao Capsules on the Blood-lipid Levels of Hyperlipemia Patients

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Liuwei nengxiao capsuled on the bloodlipid levels of patients with hyperlipidemia.METHODS:In an open multicentre randomized parallel controlled positive drug study,108 hyperlipidemia patients were divided into 2 groups,81 cases for experimental group and 27 cases for control group.A treatment course lasted for 6 weeks.RESULTS:106 patients including 80 cases for experimental group and 26 cases for control group had completed experiment.There were no statistical significance between 2 groups in the levels of TC,TG,HDLC and LDLC before and after treatment(P 0.05.) There were no statistical significance between 2 groups in qualified value of TC and LDLC(P0.05.) There were statistical significances between 2 groups in the change of body weight(P0.05.) No severe ADR was observed in 2 group.CONCLUSION:Liuwei nengxiao capsules are able to decrease the levels of blood lipids and have no adverse effect on health.
