Clinical Study on the Effects of Jiangzhikang Capsules on Hyperlipidemia

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of Jiangzhikang Capsules on patients with hyperlipidemia.Methods:120 patients with hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into a treatment group in which 60 cases were treated with Jiangzhikang Capsules and a control group in which 60 cases treated with Zhibituo(capsules for decreasing the hyperlipidemia).The patients in both groups orally took drug for 8 weeks as a course.After treatment,the changed symptoms,the therapeutic effect and the changed hyperlipidemia level were observed in both groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was better in relieving symptoms(90%)than that of control group(60%)(P0.01).As compared with the control group,the treatment group markedly decreased the TG and LDL-C levels(P0.05).But no significant difference was found in increasing HDL-C level in both groups.Conclusion:Jiangzhikang Capsules had definite therapeutic effect on patients with hyperlipidemia.No toxic side-effects and adverse reactions were found during the treatment and in the follow-up visit.
