Varicocele ligation under laparoscopy in 31 cases

Objective To evaluate the clinical results and value of laparoscopic varecocele ligation.Methods To analyse the cinical data of 31 patients who underwent laparoacopic varicocele ligation retrospectively.Results All operations were completed successfully with little blood loss,and mean operative time was 27.3 minutes,and mean hospital days after operation were 2.3 days. Being followed up for 3～18 months,one patient developed the recurrence of varicele.Conlusion Laparoscopic varicocele ligation is effective and minimally invasive and it should be the first choice for patients with bilateral varicocele and those recurrent after open surgery.
