Clinical application of laparoscopic varicocele highly ligation

Objective: To sum up the clinical experience of vein in varicosity being highly ligated under laparoscope. Methods: 23 patients were accepted the operation of laparoscopic varicocele highly ligation. We analyse the curative effect and recovery complexion from the clinical data. Results: All operations were completed successfully and no accompanying disease happened. Average operative time was 42 minutes, and average days in hospital after operation were 3 days. 16 patients have being followed up for 6~25 months and nothing recurred to them. Conclusions: Laparoscopic varicocele highly ligation is effective and minimally invasive, and it should be the first choice for patients with bilateral varicocele and those who experienced open operation and got the same diseasek again.
