Mini-laparoscopic varicocele high ligation with a report of 52 cases

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety,advantage of mini-laparoscopic varicocele high ligation.Methods The clinical data of 52 cases underwent mini-laparoscopic varicocele high ligation were reviewed.Results The operation were successful in all the cases.The mean operation time was 10 min in unilateral varicocele patient.16 min in bilateral varicocele patient.and the hospitalization after operation was two days.No complication occured in these cases.No recurrence was found at a followed 3～12 months.Conclusion Mini-laparoscopic varicocele high ligation has advantage of minimal invasive,safety,effective,early resumption and lower complication,especially for bilateral varicocele patient.
