On College English teachers' professional ability development

With the social requirements for the English talents' further improvement,as well as the development of information technology and the popularity of the Internet,the way in English teaching and learning has been a fundamental change.For such a change,there is an urgent need to improve and develop College English teachers' professional capacity.Based on the college English teachers status analysis,the paper discusses the importance for College English teachers' occupation localization,the professional quality and the professional ability,and proceeds to put forward the way and the method for the improvement of their own professional quality.
