On the Development Strategies of the Professional Quality of College English Teachers in the Network Environment

College English teachers' professional quality is a key factor which influences college English teaching reform,teaching quality,and curriculum construction and development.The rapid development of computers and network technology brings about higher requirements and greater challenges for college English teachers' professional quality.Influenced by various factors,the development of college English teachers' professional quality is a long-term,complex and systematic project,which involves the collective efforts of the country,educational authorities,universities and individuals.Based on the related studies both at home and abroad,this paper puts forward concrete strategies from the perspectives of autonomous development,situational support,and cooperation platform in order to promote college English teachers' professional quality,college English teaching quality,and students' English proficiency.
