The Aesthetic Study on English Translation of Classical Chinese poetry

Abstract

The classical Chinese poetry represents the highest aesthetic achievement of classical Chinese Literature,and it is of great significance to study the aesthetic effects of its English translation.This article analyzes the components of the classical Chinese poetry as aesthetic object(including both the subjective and objective systems) and the subjectivity of the translators as aesthetic subject,and proposes corresponding translation principles and the requirements of the translators.
