On Aesthetic Subject in the Translation of Chinese Classical Poetry

Abstract
The dynamic and subjective aesthetic judgment of the translator plays an important role in the process of translating Chinese classical poems as the translator is both the aesthetic subject and translation subject of the source poem.His/Her aesthetic intervention can be categorized into three types: cognition,intention and analysis.The essay elaborates these three types with translation examples,and further suggests that keeping the translator's proper aesthetic intervention is a good method and criterion for transferring the inner beauty of the source poem.
