Industry Technology Innovation Efficiency Evaluation and Evolutionary Analysis——Empirical Study based on Big and Mid-sized Enterprises of Equipment Manufacturing Industry in Heilongjiang

Technical innovation is a major driving force promoting industrial technological progress and thus technology innovation efficiency must be taken into consideration in the course of technology innovation.This paper sets up 35 decision-making units by selecting the input/output data in 2003—2007 of seven equipment industries in Heilongjiang province,evaluates the technology innovation efficiency through data envelopment analysis(DEA),and makes horizontal and vertical analysis and comparison of overall efficiency,pure technique efficiency and returns to scale.Results show that: the overall efficiency of equipment manufacturing industry in Heilongjiang province is unsatisfactory as a whole,and the lower pure technical efficiency is the key reason leading to the lower overall efficiency;at the same time,it makes a comparative analysis of the efficiency evolution of the technology innovation of the seven industries.
