Abstract

The course reform in elementary education sets a new demand on teachers and offers a challenge to higher teacher education as well. Therefore it is vital for the smooth reform of elementary education to train and cultivate a great number of teachers with the sound understanding and practice of new course. In the process of teacher's continuing education and development, higher teachers colleges, as the base, should cooperate with middle and elementary schools, as the key, which is an effective way to achieve such aim.
