Abstract
Objective:To evaluate ultrasound diagnosis and pathology diagnosis in patients with breast tumors. Methods:Overall 101 cases with benign or malignant breast tumors were examined by ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasonography, and the results were compared with the surgical and pathological findings. The different image features between the benign and malignant breast tumors were analyzed. Results:The benign and malignant breast tumors were significantly different in shapes, boundary, capsules, sound corona and rear echo(P0.05).The detection rates of minute calcification, upwards of level Ⅰ blood stream, rear attenuation and high echo corona of malignant carcinoma were 48%(20/42),45%(19/42),33%(14/42) and 93.8%(60/64)markedly higher than those benign tumors, which were 12%(4/33),18%(6/33),54%(18/33) and 27.0%(10/37),respectively(P0.05).Conclusion:The conventional gray scale ultrasound examination is of great signif-icance in the early detection of breast tumors.
