Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Methods 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in our hospital from January 2010 to March 2013 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the experimental group received the continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump, while patients in the control group received the multiple subcutaneous insulin injection. The clinical effects of two groups were compared. Results The insulin dosage of experimental group was significantly less than that of control group(t=9.856 5,P=0.000 0).The time of maintain good blood glucose after drug withdrawal of experimental group was longer than that of control group(t=8.705 1,P=0.000 0).The time to achieve target blood glucose of experimental group was shorter than that of control group(t=4.460 8,P=0.000 0).The excellent and good rate of experimental group was 90.0%,significantly higher that 60.0% of control group(χ2=7.384 6,P=0.024 9).Conclusions Continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion by insulin pump has good clinical effect in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, significantly better than traditional multiple subcutaneous insulin injection.
