Abstract

The power, fuel economics and the emission performance of the EFI engine fueled with ethanol-gasoline are studied through the engine bench test. The experiment results show that, when there are not any adjustments of the engine parameters, the power output is almost no changed when burning E10 or E20,but the fuel consumption rate increases under the same working conditions. With the increase of the ethanol rate, the emission of CO and HC decreases obviously.
