Abstract
Based on the one dimensional simulation model of the GEELY engine MR479Q,simulation researches about an EFI engine fueled with gasoline-ethanol were developed using this 1-D model. It was found that without any modifications on the engine, gasoline with an appropriate proportion of ethanol could promote the power performance slightly, but increase the specific fuel consumption because of the LHV than that of gasoline.
