Abstract
Without any changes of the engine parameters, the engine power performance and fuel economic performance of the Electronic Fuel Injection(EFI) engine fueled with mid and high proportion methanol-gasoline were studied through the engine bench test. The experiment results show that compared with 93# gasoline, both power performance and economic performance decrease when burning M30,M50,M85,and the more the methanol's proportion the more the power performance and economic performance decrease.
